CATERHAM USA WEBSITE LAUNCHED
Caterham Cars Ltd and Caterham USA is pleased to announce the launch of the new Caterham USA website www.caterham-usa.com. The website has been mutually developed by both parties as they work together to re-launch Caterham and the new model range in the US.
For the first time in more than two decades Caterham enthusiasts will be able to experience the same power and performance that has only been available to the UK market. Until now State side Caterham owners have had to settle for the outdated Ford X-Flow and more recently Ford Zetec engines, while the UK market received exciting new products. With the release of the Ford Duratec packages developed in house by Caterham Power Train (CPT), the US market now has access to all the latest Caterham engine options.
The CPT Duratecs offer fantastic levels of performance, reliability and enjoyment that complement the character of the Seven’s legendary chassis perfectly. With options spanning from the base 170bhp to the mighty 263bhp engine package, the CPT Duratec offers a performance level to suit a variety of requirements and budgets.
The introduction of these engine package options, allows previously unavailable models to be released into the US market. The Superlight R500 has long been the supercar slaying weapon of choice in the UK. Utilizing the top of the range 263bhp CPT Duratec, the R500 combines the legendary Seven chassis with mind bending acceleration, allowing the US market to fully come to terms with what a Seven is truly capable of.
